Hello Ayla ji,
I am Shaukat Bhatti from USA (New York). I am a big classical music lover and a fan of Ustad Salamat Hussain (bansuri player). I have been living in USA for the past 18 years and am a bansuri player myself. I am promoting classical musicians from Pakistan in USA. I am interested in starting the New York Chapter of APMC, and would like to contact you and talk about it further. Let’s accomplish this mission together.
Thank you.

Dear Ayla,
I am from Seattle, USA. But have temporarily moved to Pakistan this year to study with Ustad Fateh Ali Khan at the patiala gharana classical music academy in Islamabad.
I wanted help with the promotion of this academy. It would be great if you could circulate information about it among classical music entusiasts. You could find more information at:
www.classicalmusicheritage.org
Thank you!

Hello Aftab & Shaukat,
It would be great if we could collaborate on this.
The USA chapter should be registered as a Non-profit organization in the USA so it is tax exempt. Once that is done it would be eligible for the donation matching program at corporations like Microsoft etc. We could develop a network of corporations and collect funds for the chapter. Then we can organize concerts/tours.
The chapter should also promote academies in Pakistan because that is where the students are trained. I want to promote the Patiala Gharana Classical Music Academy. This organization is operating on donations only.
Please contact me at nadiar@microsoft.com, nadia@classicalmusicheritage.org
Thanks a lot for your interest!
